• Honored on the All-WAC second team, backing up a preseason selection to the All-WAC second team.
• Landed on the WAC All-Tournament Team after tying teammate Ray Harrison with 80 points for the tournament.
• Ranked second on the team in scoring (12.8 points per game) and led the team in rebounding (7.6 per game) and field-goal percentage (52.2%).
• His rebounding average of 7.6 ranked third in the conference for all games. Ranked second in the WAC in conference games at 7.5 per game. Ranked 58th nationally with 274 total rebounds, a season-rebounding total that was No. 3 in GCU’s D-I era.
• Ranked second in the WAC with seven double-doubles and second in the WAC with 10 double-digit rebounding efforts.
• Reached the 1,000-point mark for his career in a 12-point effort against Seattle U on Feb. 24.
• Was one of two Lopes (Ray Harrison) to start all 36 games.
• Scored a career-high 35 points to lead GCU to a quarterfinal win in the WAC Tournament against Seattle U. It tied Carlos Johnson’s 2019 effort for GCU’s top-scoring WAC Tournament performance and tied Utah Tech’s Cameron Gooden for highest-scoring performance of the 2023 WAC Tournament.
• Named WAC Player of the Week on Feb. 20 after combining for 47 points on 19-for-26 (73.1%) shooting with 19 rebounds against UTRGV and Abilene Christian.
• Finished the season by scoring in double figures in 10 of the final 11 games.
• Pulled down a career-high 18 rebounds in a nationally televised win over Northern Iowa on Nov. 22 in Kansas City. It was the highest single-game rebounding mark in the WAC for the season, and the No. 3 mark in GCU’s D-I era.
